Dissimulazione e testualità

This volume investigates the compositional practice of some nineteenth- and twentieth-century texts as an exercise in the “poetics of scars”. It offers an analysis of how 'dissimulation' triggers and complicates the dialogue with the reader – urged to embrace mimetic cooperation and the production of meaning – and, conversely, of how the many textual levels – in the works of Leopardi, Pascoli, Pirandello, Goldoni and De Filippo – open up a complex hermeneutics and thus generate dissimulation, which becomes the deep-set engine of the entire communicative-literary system.

Antonella Del Gatto è docente di Letteratura italiana presso il Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture moderne dell’Università “G. d’Annunzio” di Chieti-Pescara. La sua formazione si è svolta tra le Università di Chieti, Roma, Ginevra, Neuchâtel (dove ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca e dove ha insegnato).
