In June 2013 the UNESCO added the Villa of Careggi, a property of the Regional Government of Tuscany since 2004, in the World Heritage list. This book aims to show the historical and artistic value of the villa by providing a set of writings, memories, impressions, and images. This original scientific essay is the result of a cooperation between the University of Florence and the local offices of the Ministry of Culture, together with the Region of Tuscany.
