An entire Library with thousands of volumes of the 19th and 20th centuries, that had disappeared from circulation, has been reassembled, analytically catalogued, computerized, and restored to its public. A 'sui generis' Library: its recuperation, having left the structure intact as it was created over the years with its stratifications and alterations, enables us to reconstruct an entire era of the evolution of the book as an instrument of communication and formation of public as a whole in days when television was not foreseen even in the prophetical dreams of Jules Verne.
