After more than a century since the publication of the national edition of the Latin works of Giordano Bruno, the present standard of studies demands an increased and more refined method of criticism (critical instruments) comparable to that which came about for the Italian works. On these grounds it was decided to publish this volume, conceived to fill the obvious gaps in the 19th century edition, to provide an instrument which would facilitate an improved perusal of that edition and, at the same time, to promote new possibilities of study and research on ‘Bruno latino’.
