This book is the catalogue of the exhibition organized by the ILIESI-CNR to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its activities, in partnership with the Istituto Centrale per la Grafica. The catalogue collects the posters, the drawings, the sketches and the sculptures displayed during the exhibition, together with critical studies by T. Gregory, A. Lamarra, M.A. Fusco, E. Canone and A. Renzitti. The book in its whole is therefore a synthesis of the never-ending dialogue between art, philosophy, and culture.

Cristina Marras
Cristina Marras, è attualmente ricercatrice a Roma presso l’ILIESI, istituto del CNR. Dal 1991 si occupa della filosofia di G. W. Leibniz svolgendo i suoi studi e le sue ricerche principalmente all’estero, in particolare al Leibniz Archiv di Hannover, alla Leibniz Forschungstelle di Münster e all’Università di Tel Aviv, presso la quale ha conseguito il titolo di Ph.D in filosofia. Oltre agli studi leibniziani e alla filosofia dell’età moderna con particolare attenzione alla storia delle idee linguistiche, si occupa di controversie filosofiche e scientifiche, di pragmatica e teoria dell’argomentazione. Dal 2001 è segretaria dell’International Association for the Study of Controversies, ed è socio fondatore e membro del direttivo della Sodalitas Leibniziana.
