With 2010 marking the centenary of the publication of Forse che sì forse che no (Milan, Fratelli Treves, 1910), mostly set in the rooms of the Ducal Palace of Mantua, the Virgilian National Academy held a study day on d’Annunzio. The resulting book highlights the stylistic innovations proposed by d’Annunzio in his last novel: more agile, more essential, less rhetorical than previous novels in the usual search for aesthetically suggestive words.
