Relazioni del viaggio in Levante e in Grecia

For reasons still obscure, this volume was printed in only one copy a few years after the death of Carlo Vidua (1785-1830). It describes with acute observations the social scene in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Greece, which the ethnographer and historian from Piedmont visited between 1820 and 1821. These territories are the final stages of a journey that took Vidua from Lapland to Egypt via Russia.
