This volume completes the publication of the Proceedings of seminars on Philosophical Terminology and History of Ideas held at the Institute for the European Intellectual Lexicon. The seminars were devoted to the concept of mind from ancient to contemporary times (the first volume was published in the same series in 2005). Without being a manual, the volumes present a history of the concept of mind, with a variety of approaches to a philosophical problem, both central and ambiguous, still under debate today.
