Giovanni Pico della Mirandola e le «Disputationes» contro l’astrologia divinatoria

When Giovanni Pico died, a monumental manuscript devoted to his «Disputationes» against the practice of astrology, written to fiercely oppose astrological superstition, remained unpublished. This volume gathers the proceedings of the conference devoted to Pico’s last work and its relevance in the context of Renaissance philosophical thought: a collection of the contributions by various scholars dedicated to the topics discussed at the conference and to the most recent interpretations of Pico’s thought.
