One of the greatest collections of Parmigianino’s drawings, many of which cam from Leopoldo de Medici’s 17th century collection, is conserved at the Uffizi Gallery, and provides an outline of nearly all the various stages in this artist’s career. New aspects of the artist’s graphic technique were investigated with research into the connection between known works and themes depicted. The catalogue contains details and results of the scientific analysis carried out on several works of art.
