A large part of the marble works collected by the Riccardi family since the end of the 16th century is still conserved in the palace, purchased from the Medici family in 1659, in Via Cavour. From among these sculptures, long since forgotten, 22 busts have been chosen for this exhibition representing personalities from the Greek and Roman eras (from philosophers, poets and athletes to privates and members of the Imperial dynasty, namely Sabina and Caracalla).
Italian and English text.
