The outline of events along which new conceptions of knowledge and new criteria of the interpretation of reality asserted themselves in the early centuries of modern times is partially reconstructed. Literary texts, scientific treatises and works of art have been examined with the intention of endowing the interlacing of languages, the superimposition of thematics, the consonance of intentions that characterize the majority of cultural productions in those centuries.
