Giuseppe Baretti was born in 1719. Si occupa di critica letteraria e ha pubblicato alcune traduzioni. È co-editrice della rivista «Horizonte – Neue Serie • Nuova Serie, Italianistische Zeitschrift für Kulturwissenschaft und Gegenwartsliteratur • Rivista d’Italianistica e di letteratura contemporanea» (www.horizonte-zeitschrift.de).
