Lettura delle Poésies di Mallarmé

Mallarmé tends to manipulate the time of nature, and to subject the physical phenomena to paradoxical distortions. His poems present a set of altered cosmic scenes. The poet’s favourite actions are the interruption, the delay, the alteration, the modification of the roles of the actors of the “solar myth”. Through a wide array of transgressions of the natural course of the events, Mallarmé imagines he will be able to remove the origin of his sorrows: the bereavement, the absence, the missed love.

Massimo Blanco
Massimo Blanco insegna Letteratura francese presso la Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell’Università di Roma “La Sapienza”. I suoi interessi di ricerca vertono sulla poesia francese del XIX secolo (Mallarmé, Baudelaire, la poesia parnassiana) e del XX secolo (Paul Valéry, le avanguardie). Ha pubblicato numerosi saggi in rivista e ha curato un’edizione delle Poesie di Mallarmé (2014). Tra le sue monografie si ricordano: Cerchi d’acqua. Materiali per Paul Valéry (2003), Vedere il pensiero. Breton, Artaud, Tzara (2010), Corpi nell’intervallo. Da Mallarmé a du Bouchet (2012), Edipo non deve nascere.
