The Accademia proposes a multi-disciplinary debate over the issue of landscape as cultural heritage, with the aim of retrieving documentation, testimonies, sources of material persistence and artistic production through the study of archives, cartography and dissertations. Previous investigations deal with the founding of the territory, the transformations which occurred in the Middle Ages, and the establishment of the Gonzaga court. These contributions make reference primarily to the Teresian land registry, as well as to agricultural publications and to remaining monumental and architectural deposits.
