The first comprehensive study on the Jewish Community of Imola. A. Ferri reconstructs the entire history of the community from the 14th to the 16th century. M. Giberti provides an analysis of public and private Jewish places in Imola: synagogues, the cemetery, houses. C. Ravanelli Guidotti studies the maiolica of the urban Jewish area, perhaps produced for ritual use. M. Perani analyzes the communal library’s illuminated Jewish Bible, handwritten in Spain in the second half of the 15th century and brought to Italy following the 1492 expulsion.
