- About this book
Publication of vol. III and the Indices concludes this bibliographical project, which describes in great detail all the printed works by all the authors who have significantly contributed to the artistic study of Rome. For the first time such a vast amount of material has been gathered in a single work: altogether 13,475 titles are described, many of them related to the social history of Rome and of the papal states, floods of the Tiber, the activities of various academies, etc.
