The historical-artistic importance of the music chapel in a provincial centre such as Forlì is relatively moderate compared with that of impressive chapels of greater metropolitan areas. Nonetheless these minor realities are not to be underestimated in the history of musical institutions. In fact they provide a valuable contribution to the documentary reconstruction of a network, that of musical culture in Italy over the centuries, enriched by the support of these smaller centres.
