- About this book
This sixth volume concludes the study Parronchi began forty-three years ago, aimed at restoring Michelangelo to completeness with numerous works that appear to have been lost in the shadow created by the blinding light of his geniality. The study spreads over the large area of the artist's activity beginning with his knowledge acquired through the precocious practice of anatomical dissection. In this final volume investigation extends to cover some of his distinguished contemporaries.
