A rich anthology of the works from the multiform activity of this Florentine artist is analysed for the first time in this volume. Active as a painter in the «Novecento Toscano» group, xylographer for the journal «Solaria» and the Venetian «Biennale» during Antonio Maraini’s mandate, he reaches the height of notoriety during the two wars renewing the xylographic technique and becoming book illustrator for famous publishers such as Vallecchi, Bemporad and above all Sansoni.
