This collection of essays published over a span of 20 years (1968-1988) follows a thematic order that scans the main aspects of reflection of the French utopian beginning with his political writings, on to the study of the anarchical trait of Fourier’s thought, ending with an analysis of both Fourier’s contribution to Marxism and the interpretation offered to this author’s doctrine by Marx and Engels and consequently other illustrious exponents of 20th century Marxism.
