This work is meant as a contribution to the study of one of the most significant political-cultural operations accomplished in Italy between the wars. Starting from an accurate reconstruction of the unremitting campaign of popularization of the feminine figure carried out by Pnf, the Author revisits the historiography of the Fascist attempts to mobilize women in favour of the party and the nation, focusing mainly on exponents of the middle class who adhered to the Female Fascist movement.
