«Il Ponte» di Calamandrei (1945-1956)

A reconstruction of the vicissitudes of the Florentine periodical «Il Ponte» run by Piero Calamandrei from 1945 to 1956. With the rapid failure of the cultural unity project due to the effect of the cold war, the periodical began its course of left-wing politicising. Following dissolution of the 'Partito d’Azione' «Il Ponte» became a meeting place for the Party’s philosophy and for a long time kept alive its political and cultural inheritance.
