The activity of this printer, one of the most important in Florence during the second half of the 16th century is distinguished by musical works. In 1581 he published the first book of this kind in Florence and continued with the music of some of the most famous composers. The present bibliography lists 415 editions: each description provides collation, a study of the various devices and the decorative elements he used, a detailed list of the content of the book, the related bibliographies and the number of copies owned by Italian libraries.There are 20 full page illustrations reproducing his various devices and architectural title borders.
