The volume examines a particular aspect of Etruscan civilisation: that of private rights, whose fragments are collected together and systematically arranged in a comprehensive form. The sources are mainly of an epigraphic nature allowing a direct approach to some of the lengthier documents. This innovative work deals on the whole with a topic that no scholar, with both juridical and linguistic grounding, has ever faced.
