A further investigation into the last period of this astonishing man of letters from Arezzo (1633-1705) developed in the Pre-Arcadian group of Florence and Pisa during the mid 17th century, with an appendix of letters and writings that describe the difficult but prolific relation between Monterchi and Nomi. The volume also includes a small corpus of unpublished documents from archives and libraries of Anghiari, Città di Castello, Florence and Sansepolcro.
