This publication offers a guide to the consultation of the 'Fondo Poggi' conserved in 42 voluminous dossiers in the library of the Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento. It comprises a registration of documents collected together in view of the publication of Michelangelo Buonarroti's letters plus those of his corrispondents and those of an administrative character relating to him and his family from Giovanni Poggi, famous scholar, archivist, director of Florentine museums and Superintendent during the war.
