132 drawings from the «Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi» cover Pontormo's artistic vicissitude and his choice of expression; divided into thematic sections relating to self-portraits, drawings from models, the study of composition and to portraits. There are also philological proposals relating to the dating and the signature of some of the papers and finally an attempt to reconstruct through his drawings the significance of the lost affrescoes of the choir of San Lorenzo, Pontormo's last work.
