The volume contains the complete catalogue of Vittorio Cian’s epistolary archive held by the Accademia delle Scienze of Turin. The 26.828 letters, indexed in alphabetical order by sender, cover the years 1883-1951 and offer an articulated overview of almost seventy years of Italian culture, showing the network of relationships the professor from Venice had built among the intellectuals of his time.
Lorenzo Bocca
Lorenzo Bocca ha conseguito un Dottorato di ricerca in Italianistica presso l’Università di Torino e l’Université Paris VIII – Vincennes-Saint-Denis. Si occupa prevalentemente di epica rinascimentale e di letteratura italiana del tardo Ottocento, temi sui quali ha pubblicato diversi contributi in riviste ed atti di convegno. Attualmente è Socio del Centro di Studi Tassiani di Bergamo e membro della segreteria di redazione del «Giornale Storico della Letteratura Italiana».
