These contributions, ranging from sacred compositions to theatre and chamber music, were presented in Florence during the most important of the events held throughout Europe for the 250th anniversary of Cherubini’s birth. The conference took place at the Academy «Luigi Cherubini» – founded in Florence in 1860 – and was attended by world-famous scholars like Giovanni Carli Ballola and Daniele Pistone, as well as young but well-known researchers like Christine Siegert and Lorenzo Mattei.
