The contributions of the three great traditions of the exegesis of Nietzsche – German, Italian and French – are gathered around his principal philosophical themes (Enlightenment, religious and moral criticism, definition of modernity, truth and interpretation) drawing on the critical layout started by Giorgio Colli and Mazzino Montinari. Conversing with great interpreters of Nietzsche – Baeumler, Löwith, Heidegger, Adorno etc. – the authors account for the relevance of the philosopher to the present day.
