The volume is proposed as a contribution to the analysis and reconstruction of historical events of Vico’s work. The «Index locorum» bears references coupled to places of the original edition (Naples 1710), of which the anastatic reproduction is presented, and to those of the text ascertained by Giovanni Gentile and Fausto Nicolini (Bari 1914). As is the custom of the series “Lessico Intellettuale Europeo” the volume comprises numerous critical instruments and lexical repertories together with an indication of misprints and a study of autographed corrections.
