A collection of poems translated by Sergio Baldi critic of English literature, himself a poet and prominent person in a generation of literary scholars in the Florentine cultural world, some of which have already been published whilst others were discovered amongst his papers some manuscript others typescript, accompanied by the texts in their original language. Baldi’s activity as a translator was intense and continuous, self-sufficient in comprehension and critical function he actually intended translations as interpretations.
